Well last Thursday I have been chatting along with my officemates during our lunchbreak. So anyway we were 7 guys and 3 girls. Now we experimented a “dating” chat while eating our lunch. The 3 girls would pretend to be the “girl who we would propose to” and we guys would each mention some of our pick-up lines and they would rate how well they liked our pick-up line. So after the game, we guys learned a lot regarding the DO’s and DONT’s when saying our most well-thought of pick-up lines:
DON’T: Say that she’s hot! According to our friends, it sounds a little pervert. Girls would think that you are thinking of her too “sexually”
DO: Compliment her by saying “Ang bango ng buhok mo”. Saying random things like that would flatter a girl.
DON’T: Say “Ang ganda ng mata mo” while not even looking at her eyes. This really sounds that you are just pretending to flatter the girl. Don’t say overused comments such as these. She would think that you aren’t serious.
DO: Tell her things like “Ang ganda mo”. Though this is very OVERUSED. It never fails to amuse and flatter women. Just be serious. Being yourself is best when saying you talking to the girl you admire.
DON’T: Tell her things regarding her outfit. It may either make her overly-conscious because you are looking at her head to foot or make her think that you’re a pervert again. In the worst-case scenario (which rarely happens) she may even think that you are confused with your sexuality for appreciating ladies’ outfit. LOL. Pick-up lines like these are usually reserved for couples, not for girls that you are currently in the process of courting or dating.
DO: Tell her things that makes her realize how much you appreciate her. Things like “Salamat nandyan ka” or other mushy things. Make sure that you are in the right place at the right time when cracking off your pick-up lines.
Best of all when the time is right tell her how much she is important to you, how much you love her. This is the best of all lines according to our friends. 🙂
Now follow the Do’s and Dont’s when saying pick-up lines. Unless you want to be slapped (happens not so often but it still does.) LOL. So these are a few things I’d like to share. More to come next time.

when going on a formal date that needs both of you to dress up, complement her shoes. somehow, that’ll make them feel sexy.

yup. do you know why girls take ages to dress up? because they have to make sure the dress matches the shoes. complimenting it makes them feel appreciated for the effort to look good.
