NBA Store Philippines Now Open for Basketball Fans

First, there was the NBA Cafe in SM Aura. Now, we have the official NBA Store, the first in Southeast Asia and their biggest outlet yet outside of the USA. That only proves how the world recognizes the fact that Filipinos love basketball.

The new NBA Store which just opened this December is located in Glorietta 3 in Makati. It was inaugurated by Richard “Rip” Hamilton, a three-time NBA All-Star and member of the 2004 NBA Champion Detroit Pistons.

The store, which is two-floors is where you can find NBA-branded products such as shirts, jerseys, shorts, shoes and other athletic wear. You can also find footwear by adidas, the official outfitter of the NBA.

What else can you find in the store?

Spalding

Inside the store you can buy you very own basketball by Spalding.

Men’s Basketball Apparel

You can also get shirts, bags and accessories of your favorite NBA players and teams.

Men’s Casual and Basketball Shoes

Basketball shoes, which make every guy drool and which go well with jogger pants, can also be found here. Aside from Adidas and Nike, the store has its very own NBA-branded casual shoes.

NBA Memorabilia

The NBA Store has a memorabilia section where they sell autographed balls, posters and shirts of your favorite stars. This is truly for the die-had fans.

NBA Store as a Basketball Lifestyle Store

Staying true to being a basketball lifestyle store, the NBA Store has a Fun Zone where customers can play NBA 2K on Playstation. They also offer co-branded headphones by Skullcandy.

And my most favorite part of the store? It’s the “Measure Up” section where you can measure and compare your hands, feet and height against your favorite players.

I went nuts when I compared my feet with Shaquille O’Neal of Los Angeles Lakers. I’m already a size 12 but WTF, look! I dwarf in comparison. Hahaha!
