Last Friday, I was invited to the launching of a new UK-based footwear brand named Cushe (pronounced as cushy). They seem to be a promising brand and it's good that they arrived just in time for summer.

By now you should be seeing the new layout of Pinoy Guy Guide. This explains the reason why you have seen multiple maintenance mode splash screens over the weekend and less posts over the past few days.

I had to take a second look at the promotional posters of Joel Cruz Products (the same makers of Aficionado perfumes) as I strolled on my way home yesterday. Want to know why? Because of their men's hair wax with hair color which I know is currently being endorsed by Dennis Trillo.

During our lunchbreak yesterday, we had funny conversations with my office friends. We were actually talking about Father's Day - an annual event which has caused much confusion to all of us and surprisingly, even to members of the PGG Forums. I've always thought that Father's day is on the second Sunday of June but it's not. It's on the third Sunday of June which is tomorrow.

Last week, I was informed by Adidas that their new flagship store in Greenbelt is now open. So I dropped by right away during my free time. Now here is a peep on how the store looks like and a glimpse of their new product.

"Exactly where do you get it?" was the question I had in mind when I first saw some guy wearing this kind of watch a couple of months ago. Actually, I wasn't really enticed when I saw one of these jelly watches. In fact, I ignored it right away. I thought it was a little childish to wear one but I have to admit that it really stands out and it has now become more popular than ever.

I am happy to announce that Pinoy Guy Guide won the Best Blog Award for the Fashion and Lifestyle Category in this year's Philippine Blog Awards. The said awards night was held yesterday, September 21, 2008 at One Esplanade (near SM Mall of Asia).

Since Barcelona 1992, I've been watching the Olympic Games every 4 years, especially the opening and closing ceremonies. And now that we only have a few days left, I'm so excited to watch the upcoming worldwide sporting event, at least on TV. It's been my dream to watch the Olympic Games Live, and I hope it would happen in London 2012.
