^^^ if you want to teach in collge, kailangan may masters ka pero hindi na required ang education units...ang ayoko sa college teaching e pag konti ang load mo, konti ang sweldo mo tapos pag summer at di ka binigyan ng load, zero ang salary mo...unlike in elementary and high school, pag summer walang work pero 100% ang sweldo mo plus mas madaling utuin ang high school kids kesa college kids ;D

I'm using a Business Application that can be configured depending on the requirements. If configuration can't solve a certain requirement, I would need to use the scripting capability of the application which is mainly based on java.

teaching and medicine, two of the most noble professions for me

ram013

ctan

Wow naman. Hehehe! Even if carpediem and ram weren't specifically pertaining to me, I am glad that they view those two professions to be the most noble.
Kasi, I am both. I was a highschool teacher before I entered the world of Medicine. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in secondary education and taught at a highschool and then volunteered to work in a non-profit NGO to develop a school curriculum adaptable to the community the NGO is working with. After the work was done, I then proceeded to study medicine proper.

^ kailan ka nagdecide to be a doctor? even before getting a degree in education, or during the time you taught highschool?

ctan

Before pa actually. Nagstart yung desire ko be a doctor since a was in highschool. Even if my mom has been pushing me to be a doctor since time immemorial, I wasn't really swayed not until in highschool when I watched in TV a documentary show about less fortunate people in the streets and slums of Manila. I saw how the Philippines healthcare force needed to be strengthened and that gave me the burden to be a doctor. Honestly, I don't want to get filthy rich with this profession. As long as I could provide for my family, that would be enough. Watch me, I'll be the future DOH secretary. Hahaha! =p Joke lang.
