meron setting na kung anu gusto mo dual sim active , sim 1 or sim 2..
pero ako laging naka dual syempre... kaya nga yun ang binili ko e

apparently napaaga ang pasok ng bagong cellphone service provider na ito.  will anyone of you try this new telecom provider knowing na napakabago niya? but considering their price, kalahati ng price ngayon?

Advantages:
-P0.50/per minute ang calls red-to-red.. magagamit mo hanggang sa pinakahuling P0.50..
-nationwide ang coverage (no more choppy and robotic lines)

Disadvantages:
-a 3G hanset is required.. other units won't do.
-konti pa lang ang users
-wala pang unlimited txt offers

i dont think the 2nd bullet is really an advantage right now. i doubt their nationwide coverage. most probably they are talking of key cities only.
how can they guarantee a no choppy line? if there is no signal or the signal is weak for 3G, then the user would also experience the same.

this red mobile wont even stand a chance.
they are going for cheap rates but their franchise is only limited to the 3G "bandwidth". hence, it is so much of a hassle to invest in a phone that has 3G capabilities just to avail of their service.
I myself can safely say that I can buy a 3G handset, but i dont even own one right now. there is no way im shelling out 5 grand just to avail of that 50 centavo per minute rate. they dont even have a solid subscriber base.. and i doubt the potential growth in the next few years. .

whoooo im threatened..... Im sticking it out with SUN. unless globe or smart offers the same...

The new telco, Red Mobile was the umobile before...binili sya ng Smart...so they'll be powered by Smart, just like TM by Globe, Addict by Smart....they're rates are cheap but requires a 3G handset
