^ i disagree on this one, kasi palagay ko bawat bandang yan ay may sariling sub-genre ng rock na pinagtutuunan. In the case of Oasis/Blur - Britpop, REM - Alt-Rock, etc. magkakaroon lang siguro ng tier within those sub-genres, as what allmusic.com's doing.
