Underwear: Marks & Spencer or Calvin Klein?

Hello guys! I'm planning to buy underwear kasi devastated na talaga yung status ng briefs ko ngayon. Haha. My uncle gave me briefs, bikini briefs to be exact pero I don't feel comfortable wearing it. Masikip kasi and hindi ko lang talaga yung "feel" niya (in terms of the cut).

Kaya ngayon, plano ko nang bumili ng bagong underwear. I'm still deciding though kung boxers or boxer briefs or trunks or whatsoever (bakit ba kasi iba-iba yung names ng underwear bawat store?).

But I don't know which brand to choose, kasi parehas silang mahal. In addition, no return no exchange din ang rule when buying underwear so caution is really needed para 'di sayang ang pera.

BTW, when buying underwear, for example your waist line is 30. Should you opt to an underwear na size 30-31 or should you buy the next size larger?

What are your insights guys? Which is better? Kindly include na rin yung price.

Here are my thoughts...

- if you're uncomfortable using bikini briefs, i suggest going for boxer briefs. yun yung skin hugging pa din pero usually hanggang thighs yung cut. i personally prefer using boxer briefs kasi pag bikini, palagi ako nawe-wedgie. pero minsan lang naman. pinapantulog ko din sila. hehe.

- pero you can also try boxer shorts... eto naman yung shorts talaga na meron butas sa harap. tapos usually, cotton ang tela. i use boxer shorts naman if i'm wearing a lose bottom.

- in terms of brand... wala naman sa brand yan. madami mura na comfortable naman. you can try sa bench... or if not, try mo magikot sa department store men's underwear section. dami choices.

- since bawal isukat, go to the size that fits you perfectly. kung 30 ka... 30-31 kunin mo. kasi if it's bigger, tendency nian is to be lose sa loob ng pants or shorts... hence, uncomfortable.

- m&s and ck's are nice... pero mahal.

Actually, I really feel uncomfortable when looking for underwear in department stores. The last time I went there all the salesman and salesladies were yelling for their products. I understand that they have to do this for the sake of marketing and sales, but they're just making me feel more awkward about them.

The last time I went to department stores, I didn't really know which brand to get kasi hindi naman ako parati bumibili. BTW, allergic din pala ko to some kind of garter. Yun yung garter na "bare" garter lang talaga. My skin gets sore and itchy when wearing that for a long time.

Eh di kapag boxer briefs, mainit din suotin? Haha. Yung boxer briefs din ba, does it follow the contour of your gluteus maximus? Kasi usally kapag briefs, diba kinakain nung gluteus maximus mo yung underwear, so you have to be sneaky in order to adjust it.

Meron din bang boxers na walang button opening? Kasi edi when you need to pee kailangan mo pa i-unbutton yung shorts mo (pero, diba pwede mo naman ibaba yung shorts mo, haha)?  Curious lang.

I went to Trinoma last time. Syempre I was looking for boxers and boxer briefs. Kaso yung boxers nila last stock na daw. Haha. ) Tapos medyo makapal pa yung tela, halos same cloth din ata siya sa mga towels na nilalagay sa likod para sa pawis (pero not the Good Morning cloth). Yung boxer briefs naman, yung garter nila, garter talaga. Eh, I'm allergic to that eh, sayang naman yung 300 pesos if I remember the price right

why not follow your choices? i believe M&S is a good choice. CK kasi tricky yung sizing nila  (depends where the undie was made) --- napansin ko lang ito from using CK. iba kapag south american country vs asian country and "made in ____".
you can get 100% cotton sa m&s kaya wala yung mga inaallergy kang garter.

its not easy to pick between boxers and boxer briefs. iba ang fit niyan. marami kasi ang hindi sanay kung boxers.

not sure sa price range ng m&s vs. ck. but i reckon ck is much expensive. never tried scouting for undies there. usually kasi american sizes (i may be wrong).

i prefer boxer briefs cut.

I think you should ask Jude_Law about dun sa CK. Binilan nya kase aq ng brief (gift) dun last Christmas.

I prefer ung tang-ga na brief. Mas-comfy.. Surprisingly.. mascomfy ang mga ganito sa Hanes at Mossimo..  Ang mossimo eh me bagong 2 design na tang-ga na brief. I was tempted to buy.. kso dami naq brief..
