career growth pa rin vs the two.
Personally, schedule is something i can adjust to, meanwhile salary is negotiable as long naman na ung offer is sustainable to my basic needs.
Sabi nga nila, okay lang na mababa sahod. Di nakakababa ng pagkatao un. At kung magaling ka talaga promotins would be inevitable.

SWELDO.

Mas sanay ako sa graveyard shift kesa sa dayshift. hehe! PLUS mas importante ang sweldo pang buhay ng pamilya. hehe!

I came to a point that schedule is important moreso, when you are getting older. Because this is the time you will feel more vulnerable in stress working graveyard. I've worked for 10 years in BPO in a graveyard shift, it's rewarding in terms of salary but pain in health. When your young go for it but make sure you have master plan to change career later on. Ipon ipon na lang muna habang nsa BPO (night schedule).

High Salary but working at night Vs. Low Salary working at day-shift

interesting, but none of the above.

guys, wag kayong papayag sa "sapat na salary". dont be comfortable. or yung mga tipong "as long as it addresses my basic needs".

Walang masama na mag-dream at maging mayaman. those kinds of mentality will really limit your capabilities. time to wake-up.

i can help you. dont be complacent.

mahirap magnegosyo no. 24/7 ka on call. problema mo mula pinakamaliit hanggang sa lahat ng major decisions.

nye.

Sa mga gipit ngayon sa pera, my elder sister who is working sa BPO tried this loan service. They cater Salary Loan and even process it hassle-free. Try LoanSolutions.PH, according to my ate, maganda daw process dito. Their agent are very friendly, handle na handle ka until you get approved. :)

sabi nila, life can be divided into 4 quadrants as a measure for success/happiness/satisfaction.

1 - money
2 - career/success
3 - relationships/love life
4 - health

salary falls under money.

on the other hand, schedule covers all. medyo unfair if im basing it on the quadrant. but that is my basis for choosing schedule. It can trigger satisfaction/happiness in many ways.

Dahil single pa ako ngayon, pera pera muna. Ipon lang. Pero pag may pamilya na ako, siguro mas icoconsider ko yung schedule..

Wealth does not come from your bank account, wealth comes from the depth of your heart. What you really want is happiness. You might believe that a fat bank account will get you there, but that's false. Happy people are happy rich or poor, unhappy people are unhappy rich or poor. Money simply masks your real being by giving you activities to occupy your mind. Don't fool yourself, recession or not, your true wealth comes from your heart and is always only there.

Happiness is the main factor to consider here.

I have a low compensation rate in the office right now and rendering working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. (in the average run). My compensation is not that really enough to cover up all my financial obligations, due and demandable but nevertheless I am happy with my work for having the best luck in my work.

Before, there were company that offers a high compensation rate but I rejected the offer simply because I know that I will  not be happy with it and need to sacrifice most of my time since I prefer spending my TIME with people special and close to my heart than working hard just for money. I am not a slave of money but merely money is my slave. That's where my happiness is.

Some of my friends are earning 3x higher than my compensation but almost 50% of them are saying that they are really tired of their work because of the schedules (most of them are working late night) and really wanted to quit their job and to look for a new job that will give them "time-freedom" to enjoy.

But still, some of them are happy even if they are working late nights because they are satisfied with the compensation that they are receiving from their office.

As you see, it is a matter of preference of what happiness really means to you. Just remember, money is everywhere but your time is very limited so choose wisely in dealing with your happiness in life.

Time is limited, remember that.

Lanchie

That's a nice way of putting it. At the end of the day the question is, "Masaya ka ba?"
