I just saw "grown ups" (dvd na pirated)... cheap laughs... not really memorable... one of the weak movies of adam sandler IMO

the eye (hollywood version), ok movie, pero mas trip ko yung asian version.

OT: yeah, effective marketing, I'd give them that. Pero may mga scenes kasi na ikaw mismo magsasabing "grabe naman sa marketing yun". May isang scene pa nga na ganto e... sarah is washing her face while realizing that she did something that made her ate upset... sarah looks in the mirror, grabbed her facial soap, camera focuses on facial soap's brand, camera looks back at sarah, wala na yung focus nung camera kay sarah (kahit sya yung nasa gitna nung screen). nakakairita lang.

an effective, memorable and subtle advertising in a movie is that one in another sarah geronimo's film "a very special love"... yung scene na masakit yung ulo nung family member ni john lloyd. all he said was "sandali, kukuha kita ng paracetamol". automatically, alam agad ng tao kung anong brand ng paracetamol yun

sorry for the long OT repy, concerned lang talaga ko sa commercial movies ng pinas kasi I know that they can do better...
