I always wanted to be CD REVIEWER of prestigious international music magazines like ROLLINGSTONE, SPIN, NME, BILLBOARD,...i have already contibuted to local music websites but im still hopeful that i will be able to achieve my dream 

Cool ambition man. Don't lose focus, work hard, plan your strategy and pray. You'll get there.

Dreaming is the first step...then you devote yourself into actions. Acting without dreaming is being a sell-out. You make a nice point though.

agree on all points. it's just like a wish. you wish for this, you wish for that. pero until you don't put an effort to it, it will be just a dream and a wish.
it's not bad to dream, to hope, to wish for something.

take the first step, dream, then set some goals and take action for it to be fulfilled, just like what President JFK did when he said...

"I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth."

Kahit anung gawin mong step? Doesn't that qualify for action already? Dreaming and taking action are not opposites. You can do both. You HAVE to do both.
