Siguro, hindi naman talaga totally sinasamba kundi nagbibigay respeto lang. Though, katoliko ako, hindi ko rin kayang ipagtanggol ang religion ko or tuligsain. Dahil, honestly, hindi naman ako nagbabasa ng bible para magsalita against or in favor of them. Sa tanong kung satisfied, hindi ko masasagot kasi hindi ko alam kung anong basis para masabing satisfied ako sa religion ko. Kung baga, hilaw ang knowledge ko. Para sa akin, siguro masasabi mo'ng satisfied ka or hindi kung 1.) Kabisado mo ang religion mo or alam na alam mo yung religion mo by heart; 2. kung nagagampanan ng Church mo yung tungkulin nito in accordance sa faith niyo.

nakaluhod kami kasi ganun kami magdasal... at kung lumuluhod kami sa harp ng ibang mga santo, hindi ibig sabihin na sinasamba namin sila. nagdadasal lang kami sa knila para iparating yung prayers namin. and yes, di namin alam talaga kung ano itsura ni lord or ni jesus, pero yung mga rebulto na yun ay mga simbolo lamang. kung halikan man namin ay sa tingin ko, wala ring masama.. hindi ba pag meron kayong bagay na may sentimental value, minsan niyayakap at hinahalikan nyo pa nga? yung mga picture? di ba symbol din un??? ganun lang...

bakit ba catholicism lang ang tinitira nyo dito??? and first of all, ang thread ay nagtatanong kung satisfied ba kayo sa religion nyo hindi kung ano ang di nyo naiintindihan sa pagiging catholic.

ang paghalik sa isang sentimental value ng isang bagay na non-religious ay kaiba sa isang sentimental value related to religion kasi dinadasalan ito..kung symbol man ang mga pics ng saints o kung ano ang nasa heaven, siguro enough na yun for educational purpose only?..

Bakit nga ba Catholic ang tinitira?..kasi marami ang hindi nakakaintindi....tanong, mapupuna mo ba ang isang bagay kung may basihan ang mga pagkakamali nito?...kaiba ito sa mga paninira for example sa showbiz...sisiraan mo ang  isang tao at maglalabas ka ng proweba..pero ang proweba ba yun ay makatotohanan?..so kung ang Bible ang basis ng truth, pagdududahan mo pa ba? hindi di ba? kahit sino pwedeng maintindihan ang nilalaman nito not just the hierarchy in the Church....nagaral nman tayo e...Christian history can also help us...there is nothing wrong to defend the truth if you know the basis is authentic..let's just be open-minded and respect each other...so we're not blind of the truth...in fact this arguments doesn't make me angry or irritated....hindi pagaaway ang purpose nito...nasa tao na lang yan...

sa Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary pag sa Rosary...meron dun.. Mother of our Creator, Pray For us...wth! ibig sabihin may mother si God? wala talaga sa Bible yan e ni Katoliko nga hindi tinuro na may mother si God...si God lang naman ang creator at hindi si Jesus Christ..tsk tsk...how come na hindi ito binabago ng Vatican??

I just want to share my view. I was born a catholic and now I attend a christian church.

With regards to praying with saints and Mary, I believed that it would would be impossible for them to hear our prayers because they are not omni present. And as what Jesus instructed, "when you pray, go to your room lock the door and pray to your Father in heaven." Mary is the mother of Jesus and Jesus is God cloaked in flesh(this is Mary's son) and Mary is not a mother of God.

I believed these things because I choose to; and I also believe that this forum's purpose it to share knowledge and wisdom or beliefs but not to impose them. As what I'm always saying RESPECT.

And I also want to share this; the reason why other members are now inactive and why there were a lot of hate post here once. It is because other people impose to everyone to RESPECT them but they too didn't know how to RESPECT. Also, because there were people who ACCUSE others without proper evidence. They just wanted to IMPOSE that their "intuition" was right.

What was always being taught to us? Share the love of Jesus. Please take note of the word "SHARE"; it's not "IMPOSE".

*I would like to apologize to other guys here who might have different views on religion and christianity, whom might get offended.

If you are a christian, you have to be a disciple of Jesus, a follower of Christ. And you aim to be more like Christ. With these passage, "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us". God is an enemy of sin, He does not like sin. But while we were yet his enemy, He still showed His love to us. He died for us.

So if you think you're a christian, and you hate other people who has different beliefs compared to you; please think again. Are you really?

Remember this, God hates sin but He loves us. God hated our action(sin) not us. We as well will hate the sin commited to us but we will still love that person. Be angry to the action not to the person.

If you are reffering to me (as kuya nice guy), I did not get what you mean with your first sentence. As for the rest of your post, what I can say is, you did made your point already right? And if they still didn't want to believe, leave it that way. If you force your beliefs to other people, you'll just create another unhealthy discussion.
