try using glycolic products. it does not only control oiliness, nakakalighten at smothen din siya ng skin.  :)

where are these glycolic products particularly available commercially?

aslan_fleuck

i get the particular brand that i'm using from my derma, kelangan kasi to ng prescription due to much higher AHA concentration (15%-20%)  compare to OTC products in the market (usually 5% lang).

but to name a few OTC that i know:

SkinTel (which Pao mentioned and mura lang)
Terranex (soap lang siya which you can buy in Mercury)
Mario Badescu ( eto complete ang line which you can buy in Rustans and
                          above 1K ang price range)
VMV Hypoallerginics (yung Illuminants line nila ang may glycolic
                                  ingredients)
Anthony Logistics ( 5% AHA - facial wash ito which you can buy in Beauty
                                Bar, 250ml cost 1,200)

Oily food has been debunked as a possible factor of zit breakouts, unless you have some reaction from it, that is. Maganda nga may oil sa mukha as it defies aging. So ibig sabihin kung nasa 50's ka na mukha ka pa ring nasa early 40's or late 30's hehe

I also have an oily skin, and i just keep it in a manageable or acceptable level. yung hindi naman mukhang pwede ng magluto ng itlog sa mukha mo.
After a long search, just do this, wash your face with a facial wash made for oily skin, use toner and gel type moisturizer. Kailangan kasi ng balat natin ng moisture para hindi mag overproduction ang oil. natural defense kasi ng balat ang pag produce ng oil.

enzo

gamit ko yung sa master oil control,, effective naman :))
