ram013,
nope :) i just cited brands who took cue from the original GAT design

pinoybrusko,
i lost count hehehe may 9 pairs ng shoes akong pinadala sa pinas para benta along with 9 pairs of jeans/pants and unused oakley shades.... clearing up closet space. currently, 4 na sneakers ang fave ko then 2 boots - DMs and F+B the rest ng nike, adidas, puma, onitsuka, RL, varvatos x cons... madalang kong isuot :D

carpediem,
fyi, may italian hand made boots named carpe diem that costs around $1,800... ganda ng distressing.

GAT = $65... pero may mga loko sa ebay na nagbenta ng $100... sa german army surplus lang meron and there's a demand  here in the US from those guys who know what it is. maraming gullible to bite the higher msrp.

F+B boots = $450

CP Bball = $418

Dior homme = $610, not my cup of tea coz MMM has much better designs

MMM = $465 for the low top...$565 for the high top

pinoybrusko,

lastly, i never pay retail ;)

angelo,

oo $465 ang retail ng MMM...
tip:

1. Never pay the retail price, unless it's the last pair.... thing with these  shoes is they are limited pieces... kung na-miss mo ang spring-summer collection... di nalalabas ang same pair sa fall-winter.

2. Hang/lurk/participate on sneaker forums that have a dedicated thread for designer sneakers. madalas walang ad at di google search friendly ang mga sale. small specialty shops lang madalas meron. and wala sa mga malls. you know this for sure, dami sa NY... those quaint shops pero baller laman.

3. Save for the whole year then splurge during the after holidays and spring sale... doon super mura designer items dahil palit ng season collection. naalala ko nung college ipon rin ako para sa feb private sale ng linea italia group :) italian goodies on student friendly prices.

karamihan naka-reserve na, kung may matira... saan ko pwedeng i-post? sa pants/jeans panay levis, gap, lucky brand, kenneth cole... sa shoes kenneth cole, diesel, old navy, skechers, london underground... ung shades brand new oakley fat cat.

Yes, i never pay for retail in the states. it will always be "expensive"

yes that is what i do. but the problem is that mostly, they only ship within the US. sometimes, they do not accept credit cards outside of the US. its quite difficult at times, especially asking people numerous favors. :)

i can relate. we go to a jew store in NY (also called barneys) but they hold the best bargains on mens apparel from suits to cool kicks.

yeah true. but i prefer going to the states post-spring, best weather for me. some summer collection available and spring collection sale.

fatcat ang model name nung oakley.

yup kaya proxy service gamit nila, same sentiments rin dito sa US kung euro at japanese brand.. the only way to kop them is thru a proxy service. actually, kahit ibang states lang pa-proxy mo pa since those small stores late nila advertise sa web hence, napagpilian na ng mga locals. sa common projects ko, na-timbrehan ko lang na nag-sale isang store sa boston... but it didn't reflect yet on their site. the other poster offered proxying the sale, sinubukan ko munang email ang store and fortunately they are able to accommodate my request :)  by the time they started advertising the sale ubos na ang nice goodies...

funny thing was Common Projects never had a big following sa boston considering its a college town, prolly they prefer the usual stuff - lacoste, A&F, hollister, polo... kaya swerte ;)

^ i meant what do you mean when you asked "saan ko pwedeng i-post?"

oops, i mean which proper thread forum since we don't have a for sale section. pero naalala ko pala there used to be an existing for sale thread?
