Hi guys. Ask ko lang kung ano coffee maker niyo sa bahay? Meron ba kayong espresso machine? Ano beans/brand gamit niyo?

Ako yung sa kyowa na napanalunan ng mother ko sa office party nila. Starbucks columbian gamit naman medium roast lang. I used to make a pot everyday kaso naging busy at paiba iba sched kaya hindi na nasundan..

Wala akong machine. I prefer the effort of brewing coffee. I have a French press and Hario V60.

For coffee beans, don't buy from Starbucks. May preservatives na yan. Starbucks only have 1 roastery and that's in Seattle. Imagine galing US pa yang coffee beans mo. Hahaha. Coffee beans should show the roasting date. Starbucks show expiry date instead.

Buy from local growers. Or coffee shops who roast local beans. Mga usual na roasts ay Apo, Matutum, Benguet, Timbak. Yung ma na-try ko na roasters:
1. Craft coffee revolution (E.Rod New Manila and Podium)
2. Current swell brewery  (Pioneer Market)

I started with SBUX btw.  Favorites are Sumatra (lasang ugat), Komodo Dragon (lasang kahoy), and Guatemala Casi Cielo (caramel-ish chocolate-ish)
