ang mga plataporma ng mga tumatakbong presidente... ;D

Well, maganda talaga, pinagpuyatan ko talaga sya kaya ito, inaantok ako ngayon sa office. hahahaha.

thanks to youtube, no commercial breaks and i dont have to wait at around 11pm for this. cant they just put it on primetime knowing that this is of national concern? gma talaga paminsan lang talaga may mga pagkukulang. kahit sila mukang pera.
i like the questions asked of erap, villar and gibo. of them, only gibo delivered. but oh boy, that c5 insertion issue on villar was tough. he said that "liliwanagin ko..." to begin his response but in the end, nothing was even close to being clear.
id say bayani was concise and answered the questions well. though he is not that eloquent and one may just wonder how he would fare against regional counterparts, much less in a world summit.
noynoy was rushing with his, had to leave for the 2nd part (to be aired on sunday). was expecting more meat from him (as he currently tops surveys) but quite failed, which "proves" that if not for the fame and friends, he would not survive the race.
honestly i expected more from the "alternatives" but i believe they also fell short. nevertheless, generic answers would suffice given that you only have 2 minutes to muster a good and convincing solution to somehow influence the perception of the nation and hopefully swing it your way.

@Angelo: maganda nga yung isang tanong kay Erap from the student of La Salle (tama ba). "Ano yung sa tingin nyong maling nagawa nyo sa administration nyo?" something like that. I like his answer, pointing the credibility of his cabinet members. there's also a part in his answer which says like "may pinagkatiwalaan syang maling tao."
Well Gibo didn't failed my expectations in his answers. Magaling talaga siya mag-isip. Alam mo talagang matalino. Kaso di pa rin naiisip na sya yung iboboto ko.
I don't know kung hindi ko lang narinig. To the last question given by Efren Peñaflorida which asks, "paano po ba maging bayani?," no one answer "being selfless."

@ badboy - yes to your points on Erap and Gibo.
Erap has got to be trying hard again, am pretty sure there will be a legal battle once he files his COC as it would be questioned. my personal take, we have to understand the spirit of the law and not just solely on its letters. there was an intent in including the law on past presidents wanting to get re-elected into office.
Indeed, Gibo has to carry the negative perception on GMA as he is allied with the administration. he is just hoping that when campaign period gets on, he gets more exposure and people can get to know him better.
villar has to go to court. there is no doubt he had vested interests in using his pork allocation for daanghari etc.
dinaan lang talaga sa tawa, pero pinagpawisan siya sa tanong ni mareng winnie.

@ Marky - yeah, he was back in his comic self, but full of sarcasm. its not true (partially?). Nani Perez had a graft and corruption case (although he was no longer the DOJ sec, i think when this came up)
on Gibo, not much controversy was thrown his way. would not be difficult to explain himself. Also, being a lawyer, it is expected of him to be extemporaneous.
on Efren's question, i feel its a relative question and almost "any" answer would do. as long as you define yourself to be a hero in what you do, no matter how simple, then you can be called one. But yes, there has to be the element of being selfless and knowing how to sacrifice in order to become a hero to somebody.

the questions are not what i was expecting to be asked. sana si prof. monsod na lang ang nagtanong sa lahat para talagang no strings attached. kasi yung iba parang may intimidation sa mga tanong.

you're right. the questions are valid naman to ordinary people. im just coming from the political science and public administration perspective (course ko ngayon) kaya i expected too much sa mga tanong. and im just finding something different from the forum that will set it apart from other fora and won't make it 'just another election forum'.
same thing with me. they could have prepared for it kasi parang hindi naman on the spot pinipili kung sino yung magtatanong.
the people could have done their research and asked questions that would really bring out the credibility of the candidate (or otherwise). sayang kasi yung opportunity. but well, kanya kanya talaga. para sa kanila importante tanungin yun.

in addition to that ...
sana nga may mga susunod pang forums ang GMA aside from this forums so
they can help educate ordinary people
about who deserves to be in the position

Did GMA do any research? i dont know. should they feed the interviewers the questions??? i dont know. either way magmumukang tanga yung GMA. what is the purpose of getting personalities to ask 1 question?
it doesnt sound as if it was well-thought off. kulang sa depth. but its them. they call the shots, its their show. who knows, filtered na yun?
