Ikaw, papayag ka ba na ilibing si dating pangulong Marcos sa libingan ng mga bayani? bakit?

i think in his early years.. sabi ng Mama ko..
okay naman daw pamamalakad ni Marcos..

sa tingin ko.. okay lang..
'wag na masyadong gawing napakalaking issue.. for the sake of reconcillation.. and kapayapaan na rin..
masyado ng dinomina ng aquino ang pulitika pero hindi rin naman ganun kaganda pamamalakad nila.

for me is deserve nyang mailibing sa libingan ng mga bayani although hindi ko sya naabutan. :)

kasi kahit papaano naging maayos naman ang Pilipinas nung sya pa ang namumuno.

siguro nga. Pero nakakasiguro ba tayong yung ibang nakalibing dun eh hindi lumabag sa karapatang pantao? Marami lng yung kay marcos.

Tsaka diba labag din sa karapatang pantao ang hindi pagbibigay ng maayos na libingan.:)

pabor ako. dahil tumaas ang ekonomiya ng bansa natin nung sya yung pangulo. yung mga unang termino nya.. bilib ako sa kanya.. talagang magaling siya.. biruin mo sa kulungan siya nag rereview..

eh yung pagcommute nga lang ni gma sa mga umano'y pumatay kay Ninoy.. naging rason na kung bakit inalis ng mga Aquino ang suporta kay gma.
hindi uusad ang bansang ito hangga't hindi nakakapag move-on tayo mula sa bakas ng kahapon.. tama lang na wag kalimutan ang nagdaan pero hindi tama na mamuhay tayo sa nakaraan.. hindi ba sila (Aquino's) nababahala na nagbabalik na sa kapangyarihan ang mga Marcos? hindi ba mas mainam na gumawa ng daan na matuwid na magbubuklod sa isa't isa sa halip na gumawa ng panibagong hidwaan sa henerasyon na ito? ang EDSA 1 ay People's Power, si Ninoy at Cory ay hindi ang People's power, sila ay simbulo lamang.. ang tunay na bida ay ang libu-libo o Milyun-milyong Pilipino na tumayo para sa pagbabago.

I don't know pero sabi ng mga parents ko my mother is 59 years old now mas maganda daw noong panahon ni Marcos kasi walang masyadong krimen, hindi nakakatakot maglakad sa labas dahil walang mag snatch o kung anu-ano pa.  Yung kuryente daw sa gobyerno pa noon kaya hindi ganon kataas pero nung umupo si Cory pinagpapalit daw yung mga pangalan ng projects ng Marcos pati yung Meralco binenta kaya naging pribado na. Yung bataan nuclear plant sayang hindi tinuloy, yung lrt, north luzon expressway etc. Lagi kasi sila nag kwento pag may bumibyahe kami sa malalayong lugar tungkol pilipinas = P
Well kahit sino namang presidente talagang may negativities. Si Gloria kung anu-anong issue inabot niya, pati rin si noynoy, si erap, si ramos din ba (?)

Libingan ng mga bayani as literally defined for heroes who contributed to the welfare of the filipinos as a whole. Mga taong nagbuwis ng buhay para sa bayan like soldiers, policeman, army, navy, etc.

Marcos became president but not considered as a hero. Maybe to others he is a hero esp. his family, relatives, cronies or friends. It can be true, na maganda ang buhay daw noon compared to this day pero its not the basis para i-consider na bayani ang isang tao.

Si Angelo reyes ay hinde rin dapat ilibing sa libingan ng mga bayani. He committed suicide to escape everything that was thrown to him and he did not commit suicide para sa bayan. Since Angelo Reyes is in the military and hawak ng military ang libingan ng mga bayani kaya nilagay pa din siya dun. He is a hero to his comrades in military  >:(

Binay: Email, text views on Marcos burial

MANILA, Philippines - Vice President Jejomar Binay on Friday encouraged the public to participate in the discussion on whether former president Ferdinand Marcos should be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani or not.

In a press release, Binay, who has been designated by President Benigno Aquino III to study the issue, encouraged the public to send their comments and views to his office via the following methods:

This comes as Binay started communicating with political parties and non-governmental organizations for their opinion on controversial issue.

"In line with the instructions of President Benigno C. Aquino III for me to study and recommend to him at the soonest possible time, the best option that this administration should take with regard to the question on 'whether the time has come for the late former President Ferdinand E. Marcos to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani,' I have decided to undertake wide multi-sectoral consultations with our people on the matter," the letter said.

He is also open to the suggestion of PDP-Laban president Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III for a debate on the issue.

After the consultations, Binay will submit his recommendation to President Aquino.

"We will act based on the result of the public opinion," the statement said.
