Are they effective?

If "depends", depends on what?

For me, I think PPT presentations are mostly ineffective.

I hate those PPT lectures. Most of the time I don't learn from these.

Ok lang ang PPT presentations kung tamad ako, at ayoko mag notes. I just ask pwede pasend, or saan pwede magdownload?

I'm under the impression that white/blackboard lectures are the most effective. The ones that are less structured are the best for me, but of course, the lecturer has to be very good at what he does.

As for PPt presentations, I just wish they minimize visualizations and keep it simple. PPt presentations' however seem to work for flowcharts... the linear ones.

i have seen PPT presentations that are really amazing.
maybe PPTs are ineffective when they are created without the audience in mind.
hindi lang naman puro slides ang meron sa PPT; marami nang changes over the years.

ok rin ang flash; we had a subject dati na required na flash ang gamitin.
but i personally like prezi.
