roman catholic ako, pero I don't believe in religion.. I only believe in God.. religion enslaves people.. walang religion naman ang makakaligtas sa mga tao eh, it's our faith...

i'm a roman catholic . pero i don't really go to church much. pero i pray before i go to sleep.
share ko lang. i remember a paper i wrote about religion back in college for my introduction to philosophy class. i wrote that most Catholics or Muslims or Buddhists or anyone from any religion are not part of their church or faith by choice. Like i am a catholic because my parents are catholic. and my muslim friend is a muslim because his parents are muslim. we don't really have much choice as children. our indoctrination of our parents' religion starts at a very young age and before you know it, di ka na rin makawala sa faith ng parents mo. kase un na ung nakalakihan mo. iilan lang talaga ung eventually nagdedecide na magpalit ng religion. come to think of it, any religion naman pare pareho lang naman ang basic creed. kahit ano pang religion mo or atheist ka, ang importante is mabuti kang tao.

nung 4th yr high maliban sa pinagexam kme ng skul ko sa claretian missionaries , nirecommend din ako ng school para mgapari sa columban missionaries,
ako lang out of ilan kameng guys.. napasa ko yung exam and all.. pero ciempre hindi ko tinuloy
kasi nga ang gulo ng set-up ng family ko pagdating sa religion..
ung tito ko kasi pastor sa methodist.. aun
lahat ng tao sa mother side ko protestant.
e i grew up in a catholic school.. as in may discrimination tlga sa NON-catholics
kasi konti lng ung ibang may.religion dun.. nagsinungaling ako sa school bout my family's
religion. eh i got several christian living and deportment awards, ang ngyare para
mGtuloy tuloy yung pagulan ng awards hehehe, i nver said na gnun set up namen.

e nung nalaman ko hindi pala i got so confused with the teachings...
fyi lng.. nabaptized ako sa catholic faith nung grade six.. kasi required kameng kumpilan

i actually agree on that too. organized religion is "supposedly not true" because you can never put limits or dimensions to the supreme being. :D

Marunong ako magdasal, marunong ako kung pano maging taong kagalang-galang. And tale as old as time and as people have experienced before, pag religion talaga eh may "debate" at "discussion". Kesyo ganito, ganun, "blah blah blah" parte na yan ng religion eh. Ang mga bagay na yun galing yun sa religion. Ang pagdarasal lang ang tanging paraan na ginagawa ko para may connection kami, and that's enough for me. Minsan nagsisimba rin ako. I only believe in God, The Higher Power alone. Period. ^_^

yes, true! even logic dictates, if you believe in a supreme Being, it can never be talked about. there are no limitations. "prayer" would be the best way to communicate given our limitation as humans.

Roman Catholic ako, I seldom go to church. i also go to Born Again Christians Church. For me kasi it doesn't matter wherever church you go eh, what matters is you believe in HIM.
