i dont but i estimate.

usually, it is based on a recommended daily intake of ~ 2000 kcal. ---> this assumes you exercise and live a healthy life. if you dont, suggest to go lower.

I go lower.. my diet plan only assumes 1600-1700 kcal.. sharing some of them below, what i follow since mga 2-3 times a week lang ako may exercise and i dont live that healthy life kasi paminsan may inuman, or minsan kakain ng sisig and other fatty foods. (or fastfood which is deadly based on the latest news sa yahoo)

here are some of the details:

leafy and whole veggies - 2 servings per day = 1 serving ~ 5 spoonfuls.
Fruits - 4 servings per day = 1 serving ~ 1 slice (melon, pineapple, 1 whole apple/pear, 1 pc banana)
Dairy - 1 serving a day = 1 serving ~ 1 glass of low fat milk
Rice and carbs = 7 servings a day - 1 serving ~ 2 slices of bread, 4 pcs skyflakes, 4 spoonfuls of rice, 2pcs pandesal

Meat (assumed with fat) - 3 servings a day = 1 serving ~1 chix leg, 1 pc egg (with yolk), 1 small steak
Fats - to be avoided - bacon, sisig, hotdog, butter, mayo etc..
Sugar - 5 servings a day.. 1 can of soda is already around 4 servings..

mag non-fat ka for your caramel macchiatto and hold the caramel syrup. :)
yes i think its seriously true. whipped cream has high sugar content - bringing more calories.

yes burgers are indeed caloric. halos RDA mo na ang 2 burger kasi nga yung patty pa lang marami ng fat then pinirito pa yun. add the buns and the ketchup/dressing.

wala namna talagang masarap na hindi caloric. pero a good tip is that eat your caloric foods in the morning latest lunchtime so you can still burn the extra that you got from eating those foods.

Here's what I do..

First I plan the weight I should go with..

Then I multiply it to my metabolism (regular).

Then I separate the carb, protein, and fat needs ko..

Tpos I search my usuall food sa internet to get their 3 nutrients in grams.

tpos i-pplan ko na xa.. Tpos separated between 2-3 hours a day.,

Yup! I do count my caloric intake. Based on my 8% bf goal i just need 1200kcal/day. It's a hit and miss thing most of the time i exceeded my goal by as much as 300kcal.

My rotation are: brocolli, spinach, lean turkey patties (this is a gym rat wet dream...35grams of protein/patty @ 200cal), breaded chicken patty, alaskan salmon patty, wheat bread and cappuccino.
