Title: Proper attire for academic gatherings
Post by: Klutz on September 28, 2014, 09:29:24 AM
Good day guys!

I'm going to attend a congress/ convention this coming november and I'm having problems with what I will wear. Well, the convention is actually hmmm posh I guess since I'm going to be with dermatologists from other countries. Any recommended pieces that I should... errr my parents should buy? lol

I'm just curious: did they specify a dress code in the invitation?

pag walang nakalagay, ang safest is be at least on a smart-casual: that means may collar, hindi shorts, at hindi naka rubber shoes.

suggestion ko since academic gathering: long-sleeves, slacks and leather shoes. you can always fold your sleeves in case you think it's too formal. better overdressed than underdressed.
