Happy Mother's day sa mga Nanay nating lahat.
It is I think my first time to invite my Mama for a lunch tomorrow on a Mother's day. Usually kasi I just buy her cake on her Birthday and when I got work, on special day like Mother's day. I am not the type of person who says "I love you Mama" to her, but words and actions cannot express how I love my mama so much. She's the only woman I love  and lumipas man ang panahon, patuloy pa rin yun. I remember pa nga sabi ng ate ko sa kuya ko before, "dahil di natin nabigyan ng maginhawang buhay si Nanay, bawiin na lang natin sa pagmamahal". Hehehe, well, it really makes sense, all my siblings fail to do so, but for me, lahat ng gusto ng mama ko hangga't kaya ko ibibigay ko. It is one of the reasons why I work, not for my family but para maibigay ko kung anuman ang gusto ng Mama ko. May times na kinakapos, pero kung kakayanin ko, I will give her what she wants. Siguro sa ginhawa ng buhay, sapat lang ang naibibigay ko sa kanya, at hindi ko pa naibibigay ang ginhawang ninais naming ibigay na magkakapatid sa kanya. Pero ipinapangako ko na ipagpapatuloy ko ang pagmamahal at ang pagsuporta sa kanya. Basta ang masasabi ko, di ko man nasasabi sa kanya, di ko man nagagawa, but deep inside my heart, I love her so much. I love her to the extent that I could not live my day without her.

Happy Mother's Day to the superheroes of today!

Almost 3 years here in the Delivery Room as an OBGyn resident physician, I see everyday how much hardship a woman has to go through to deliver her precious child. I can see, but I can never accurately imagine the pain of labor. Indeed, a mother's love can never be questioned.

So today, take time to hold your mother's hand, kiss them when you have the chance.
