As a born again Christian, I do not believe in ghosts. Those who sort of came from dead people. I believe in the reality of spirits. Those who we see as ghosts of someone from the past are actually evil spirits who imitate the dead, because they are enticers, they want people to believe that heaven and hell is not real. They fake the truth. In the Bible, when men die, they immediately go to heaven or to hell. Nothing in between. That is why it is important to living humans to choose God, choose to enter heaven, choose have a personal relationship with Jesus as Savior and Lord, because when we die, we immediately face our destiny to either be in heaven or eternal damnation. Dead men can't choose anymore.

I agree with Ctan. Ghost are devil who acts as something that will make us afraid of. The spirit is the aspect of humanity that connects with God.
