Harry, how's beijing? was this after the olympics?

OT: malas nga missed out the pal promo 1st wave.

We went to Beijing before the olympics... mga september 2007 (basta term break nun). The birds nest was already erected during that time, though. But T3 airport was still under construction.

Beijing is more cultural tour as there are no theme parks there. Chinese people do not understand english, and getting a taxi is next to imposible. A handy dictionary is quite useful.

yes as with other low english literacy rate such as in korea and thailand. keep the calling cards of hotels/malls handy and helpful.

Calculators also work well when shopping!

Wala na 5J flights to Beijing. Sa shanghai nlng. Are you planning a tour soon? Why not try Shanghai - Beijing? I wish nag tour rin kami sa shanghai noon... I wanna try the Maglev trains!

May nakarating na ba dito sa Saint Maarten, Netherlands? How was the place?

angelo

i figured. but they used to have 5j direct from mnl right?
yes, that is possible. china is not a destination for me. i have some "bad" experience with chinese that id rather not go there first. but i do want to check out the birds nest!

nope never been there. im planning on going to south africa. have asked quotes on how much to go there and it ranges from 180-200. gosh.
