an entry for the 2010 mmff caught my attention... "RPG: Metanoia"
what sets it apart from other movie entries is that this is in full 3D (dunno about imax though)...

cher is back in the movies...

I saw a trailer of the movie "Burlesque" and it felt like the movie "Chicago" only with Cher, Stanley Tucci and Christina Aguilera... theme: muscial (a night club)

another movie of the same genre (for me) is "The Black Swan" (Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Winona Ryder)... theme: ballet

looks like these two will be fighting for the artsy-fartsy awards in the oscars... but then again, I might be wrong

hmmm it really feels like oscar season is near

guess who's back from the grave? a re imagining of William Shakespeare's "The Tempest"  has been made into a movie. I called it a re imagining because the protagonist Prospero is a Prospera in this film. Played by none other than "The Queen" herself, (deym) Helen Miren.

How will a female Prospera affect the story? I want to find out! Hope this storm gets to our local cinema by next year...
