Surfing (sport)

I noticed that there is no thread about surfing and I'm interested to learn more about this sport.

Can anyone share what they know or think about surfing?

Sobrang madaling matutunan nito.. I tried this sa La Union. Kaso ingat sa mga sting-y jellyfish. madame sila at may mahahabang mga tentacles. I prefered na mgrenta instead of buying my own unless u live by the shore at mganda ang alon.

delikado kung hindi mo kaya ang sarili mo or hindi mo rin kaya ang "bigat" ng surfboard. kailangan din medyo agile ka mag swim para labanan ang undercurrent kapag naalon ka.

try having a crash course in club manila east... forgot their rates though... at least di ka mamomroblema sa travel gastos for now...

bale sasampa ka at dadapa sa surf board tpos mag-ffreestyle ka para lumangoy.. Sabay tayo kasama ng alon. Dpat mabilis mong ma-iisampa ang isang paa mo sa lower half ng board tpos ung isa eh sa likod. Wag mo dng kalimutang itali ung surf board sa paa mo para hinde mawala..

^^ that's also cool! I think masmura ata ito kesa sa surf board.. Tpos patakbo-takbo ka sa shore. Ito gusto qng ma-try.
