Hi Guys,

I've noticed that a lot of folks here are music enthusiasts with a good variety of style and genre. We may all have been listening to our portable music players, but looking back, the songs played on the radio seems to be the first gauge in classifying the music as a candidate for a favorite or a heard-and-forget tune.

Back then, it was always the title of the song, then the artist. But lately, a lot of radio shows have evolved, some even evoking some deep thoughts, while some just keeps it light and keeps us company in the things that we do.

I've created this thread to get ideas as to which radio stations do you tune in, any particular radio shows worth mentioning, or simply your guilty pleasures.

I used to listen to The Morning Rush (RX 93.1) and Good Times (Magic 89.9).

The Morning Rush never fails to make me smile and make me laugh in the morning, while driving to the office. Plus points to the trivias inserted, and of course, the wacky countdown topics and even wackier answers, which ellicit a good round of discussion during lunchtime (a lot of my former officemates have this guilty pleasure as well). They play current songs on their playlist, but a lot of the songs played come from requests.

Good Times is a notch higher in terms of bashing and criticizing, to the point of bashing others. I find it amusing to hear the exchange of thoughts between the 4 DJ's and their occasional guests. They also play some good songs during the show.

I used to listen a lot to Boys Night Out (89.9). naughty but very funny.
fave ko ang traffic report nila which they call SOP (Samatha on the Phone).

^haha. naririnig ko yan pag nakasakay ako ng bus. si nicolehiyala ba andun?

Hehe Boys Night Out is also one of my favorites, this time, driving towards home. Samantha on the Phone (SOP) is really hilarious, especially when the boys try to seduce and play with Sam.

I also listen to the night show of Sam Oh and Gib on 99.5 RT. These girls know how to tickle the listeners and stand on their own amongst the multitude of radio shows

I think I might've tuned in to this station a couple of times...are they broadcasting on a shifting sked? (There were times wherein there's just static sound instead of music playing)
