Reviving this.

What do you guys think is the lower range of monthly salary required for a decent living in Metro Manila? By decent I mean has extra money to buy some leisure, and still has something left for savings.

makes you think. but i would peg it at P40,000 (net of tax) to be able to survive comfortably in this city.

^hmm..

based on exp.. parang ok naman ako having around 25k salary before.. I can eat at fancy restaurants. I can buy the latest gadgets. Heck, I can even treat several friends in a night club or bar.

describe 'livin' comfortably?"

angelo

hindi nag cocommute.
kaya mag minimal lunch out (cafeteria) hindi laging naka-baon.
has all utilities (cable, decent internet connection, mobile internet, etc)
may at least twice a year vacation (summer and christmas) out of town (better if out of country)

do all of these without any existing debts / loans or outstanding credit with any institution...
