usapang sweldo: What is your starting salary? and your current salary?

delikado rin ganitong thread.. parang nakaka-depress if you see other people earning more than you are (while you think you got a fairly decent pay for your job) or you feel some sort of superiority and confirmation that what you may be getting right now is more than the average.

prolly why people do not openly disclose how much they are truly making in a month. no one is even clear to the last centavo.

anyway, i have to take back what i said about "living comfortably". It should not be the mindset as it limits your dreams and how you harness your potential and talents.

I just landed to a new company. Magsisimula na ako sa December. Nakakatuwa lang kasi di ako marunong mag-demand ng salary eh, kahit senior post na ako dito sa current (Supposed to be lead, hahaha) pero di kalakihan sweldo ko, ni hindi ko na-meet yung range ng post ko. Pero sa current ko, tinanong ako "Whatr is your asking salary?" tapos nung sinabi ko ang sagot "Actually we can give more than that" hahha. Boom! At seryoso nga sila hahaha
