my 2 cents:

1) sinama ang Libel sa Section 4, pero sa batas ang unang sinabi ang siyang may mabigat na offense (which is illegal access, cybersex, interference) then huli lang yung libel. Bago ka makasuhan ng libelo, kailangan ng (a) publicity [yep, through internet], (b) malice [yep, pag ni-like mo, automatic may willful consent ka], (c) criminal consequence or imputation of natural or juridical person [except na lang kung sobrang balat-sibuyas nung makabasa]:

Liability:

Art. 355. Libel means by writings or similar means. — A libel committed by means of writing, x x x shall be punished by prision correccional in its minimum and medium periods or a fine ranging from 200 to 6,000 pesos, or both, in addition to the civil action which may be brought by the offended party.

2) Magkakaroon ka lang ng liability pag in-encourage mo ang pag-commit ng cybercrime. (Sec. 5, RA 10175). Hindi komo ni-like mo ang isang libelous act, liable ka na. Pwede kung shinare mo; or ni-repost. Pero of all grave offenses, since huling sinabi yung libel: pinaka-minor offense siya. (Interpretation of law)

3) Constitution pa rin ang mananaig. (Art. III, Sec. 4; Bill of Rights). Since hawak ni Noynoy ang Supreme Court {another topic, maraming balita regarding Sereno}, maaaring i-declare nila yung batas na constitutional (kahit na halatang-halatang unconstitutional).

4) Sa huli, halatang-halatang hindi nagbabasa si Noynoy ng pipirmahan niya! HAHAHA

I agree. Sino ba ang madalas i-bash ng online community? mosty celebs and politicians. These "famous" people are of course somewhat obliged to keep a "public image" so hindi sila magiging "libelous" .At yang mga yan, may pambayad yan ng kung anong gusto nila na pwedeng i download ng masa sa internet.

Edit: kung gusto nila lagyan ng rules ang paggamit ko sa internet. bayaran nila ang internet ko!

how ironic... galit na galit itong mga public figures na to kapag napupuna sila.....wala na raw sila privacy.... WTF!... that is the price to pay for being a public figure....gusto nyo ng katanyagan at limelight diba? Pay the price for being a public figure (claudine-tulfo incident)..... I have to agree that some people are getting way overboard and I condemn them for doing those things.....Sa simula pa lang, alam na nila na mawawalan sila ng privacy kapag naging artista or tumakbo sila sa posisyion sa gobyerno...Kaya be man enough sotto...
